For us forgottens (Westchesterites & points north) we would have a sucky drive across some body of water with an exorbitant toll anyway, so, what's the difference?The Jets have announced the plans for their new home in the Meadowlands, and although this plan has been clear for a while now, I think some hopeful Long Islanders were still holding out hopes that somehow the team would land in Queens.Again, to clarify my feelings on the subject, once the Manhattan deal went in the tank, I didn't really care. As much fun as it is for Gregg Easterbrook or whoever else to call the Jets 'New Jersey/B' it just doesn't bother me, because it's clear guys like him have no idea what prices of things are around New York, what the population density is, and just can't understand what it would take to put a stadium in the city.To read more about this, see USA Today's story.
